New on-course Defibrillator
At the Half Way House
We are delighted to inform Members that a new Defibrillator is now housed at the Half Way House.

The Defibrillator has been very generously donated to Astbury Golf Club by ‘The Fiver Club’, and a big thank you goes out to Chris Thompson and all of his fellow members of the 'AGC Fiver Club' for this valuable addition to the Club, together with Chris' kind assistance with the sourcing of the safe storage box. Its very much appreciated Chris.

Thanks also to Steve Whalley and Paul Zielinski for their help with setting up the power supply and fitting the storage box to the Half Way House.

The Defibrillator has been sited on the outside of the Half Way House, facing the canal bridge and now adds to the other Debibrillator housed inside the main entrance to the Clubhouse. The new appliance will mean that Members will have access to a life saving appliance even when the Clubhouse is closed.

The new Defibrillator has been registered with the Ambulance service and can be accessed in an emergency with a key code supplied by the 'Emergency Services' after dialling '999' and giving the Club's location.

Full details of the Club's address and 'Post Code' plus the 'What 3 Words' location can be found both on the Defibrillator and also on a seperate information sheet in the safe storage box.
