Our 2nd major of the year was played in gusty conditions. Hearing the greens were finally up to speed and were a joy to putt on. 72 players took to the field, 6 less than the Bentley cup a few weeks ago, never thought I would see a 151 tee number out do a 148. Still good numbers either way.
We have had quite the influx of new members, particularly ones wanting to play in competitions. Some weeks have been rammed so remember to book your tee time early as you can. Booking opens up 2 weeks prior to the competition.
Masters major champ went to our former Captain, Leigh Roberts. Shooting a nett 65 is very good mate. I know you do work on your game Leigh and I am sure you have a grin like the cheshire cat now buddy. Well in mate, name on the board at last.
